Matteo Macciò
In Europa Investimenti since 2021, Matteo is currently Head of Workout & Portfolio; he is responsible of management of portfolio positions and of definition and execution, together with the investment team, of the best strategies for maximizing assets recovery.
Before joining Europa Investimenti, Matteo gained 15 years of experience in Non-Performing Exposures, special situations and distressed assets, first in EY as Director of the Restructuring department, where he assisted Italian and foreign companies in the structuring and negotiation of restructuring agreements and, subsequently, in doValue as Head of UTP Team, where he contributed to the structuring of Fondo Efesto and was in charge of the management of complex turnarounds and special situations.
Matteo started his career at PWC in 2005 and holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Pavia.
